The Whitsunday Sailing Club, where you may try sailing from 9am – there are then offshore and off beach races in the afternoon – new people invited to participate
Family Picnics on the Foreshore and public swimming Lagoon Whitsunday Council has free electric BBQs along the foreshore from the Lagoon to the Sailing Club
We thought of doing this community event as in the past the Rotary Club of Airlie Beach hosted the Meridian Boat and Leisure Show now held September 10-11
Sailability will be showing boats developed for other-abled people.
9am until noon – People may stay and enjoy the waterfront or may wish to head to Dingo Beach for the Whit Fun Day
Incorporating the 22nd Annual Blessing of the Fleet – sail past from 11 am till 11.30 lead by VMR – supported by the Ministers of local Christian Churches
